Buying Guide
Equipment Buying Guide
Choosing the right grain handling or farm equipment is a significant investment. This guide will help you make an informed decision.
Before You Buy
Consider the following factors when selecting equipment:
- Capacity Needs: What volume of grain or material do you need to handle? Match the equipment capacity to your operation size.
- Power Requirements: Ensure your tractor or power source meets the PTO or hydraulic requirements of the equipment.
- Transport Dimensions: Consider the transport width and height for moving equipment between fields or on public roads.
- Terrain: Factor in your field conditions — slope, soil type, and field size all affect equipment selection.
- Budget: We carry equipment across a wide price range. Higher capacity generally means higher cost, but also greater efficiency.
Understanding Pricing
All prices on American Grain Supply include the base equipment as configured. Many products offer multiple size or configuration options — select the variant that matches your needs to see the exact price.
Prices shown are the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). We do not inflate prices or add hidden fees.
Shipping Considerations
Most equipment ships via commercial freight carrier. Delivery is curbside or to your farm/business address. For large equipment (grain carts, trailers, tillage implements), ensure you have adequate space and equipment to offload.
Freight shipping is calculated per product and shown at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
Warranty Coverage
All equipment sold through American Grain Supply comes with the full manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by brand — see our Warranty page for details by manufacturer.
